At Sir James Dunn Academy, we sell only the highest quality plants we produce at the lowest price. Our plants are grown in the best medium for their needs, and we have worked hard to acclimatize them to Atlantic Canada's regular temperatures.
Local Horticulturalist, James Moore, worked with us this year to enhance our education, and ensure that our products will exceed the expectations of our customers. Our growing medium is a healthy mixture of peat moss, perlite and vermiculite. This provides a nourished base for the plants, and a great habitat for them to thrive in. We also use a natural growing hormone, Mycorrhizae, to strengthen the plants root system.
Inventory levels will be depleted on a first ordered basis and updated on our website ASAP. All purchases can be picked up at the school on your requested pick-up date.
Overall, we strive to give you the best experience possible. If there are any problems, please feel free to contact us, and we will help in any way we can.

*Mature Plants: We have a limited selection of mature tomato plants in 4-8 gallon containers. All of these plants are guaranteed to have flowers on them, with some already producing tomatoes!
Cherry Tomato (mature plant) = $20.00
Supersweet 100 - "The classic sweet, red cherry tomato. Supersweet 100 is a reliable cherry tomato with prolific yields of great tasting, 15-20 gm. fruits produced in large clusters." - johnnyseeds.com
Sun Gold - "Intense fruity flavor. Exceptionally sweet, bright tangerine-orange cherry tomatoes leave customers begging for more. Vigorous plants start yielding early and bear right through the season. Tendency to split precludes shipping, making these an exclusively fresh-market treat. The taste can't be beat. 15-20 gm. fruits." - johnnyseeds.com
Black Cherry - "Sweet and robust. Bred in Florida by the late Vince Sapp, the round, 15-20 gm., fruits are almost black in color. The flavor is dynamic - much like an heirloom. High yielding. Indeterminate." - johnnyseeds.com
White Cherry - "Pale yellow fruits. Appealing, pale yellow cherry tomatoes average 15-20 gm. and have a good, mild taste. Plants are compact and easy to pick. A good combination with Jasper (red), Yellow Mini (yellow), Sun Gold (orange), and Black Cherry (black) in a mixed container. Indeterminate." - johnnyseeds.com
Basil (small) = $5.00
Genovese Compact, Improved - "Best Genovese type for containers. Preferred variety for greenhouses. Similar flavor, appearance, and leaf size as Genovese in a more compact plant." - johnnyseeds.com
